I work with Creative Toolbox Consulting as a writer and researcher. My successful applications include:

• A Launch BC grant application ($7,500)
• A BC Recovery grant application ($15,000)
• A large business loan from Yukon’s Regional Relief Loan Program requiring a comprehensive business ($250,000)

BC Outdoor Sector COVID Guidelines

May 2021: BC’s leading outdoor operators (including the Outdoor Council of Canada and Outward Bound) co-created the BC Outdoor Sector COVID Guidelines. These guidelines were reviewed several times by the BCCDC and used by outdoor operators across the province.

• I was the writing facilitator: I was the “gatekeeper” responsible for managing all contributors’ additions and suggestions.
• I was responsible for the final edit, organization, and formatting.
• I was a member of the research & development team. I collected information on relevant guidelines, best practices, and government policies and crunched the initial “raw information” that became the BCOS COVID Guidelines’ first rough draft.

Web Writing and Copywriting

I am a web writer and copywriter for Fireside Adventures and Vancouver Outdoor School. I have been the cheif writer for hundreds of pieces of content such as:

• Web pages including homepage, about us, and individual programs
• Long form promotional material such as program summaries and Welcome Packages
• Advertisements and social media content
• Technical documents such as course curriculum and detailed itineraries
